Tess Philipps, BSJ, JD
Tess and her husband JR live in Westerville with their two beloved dogs Scraps and Babie. She has a grown son named David, who JR helped raise from the time David was 5.
Coming from a background in the juvenile justice system, Tess worked in the juvenile units of both the Franklin County Public Defender's Office (law clerk) and as an Assistant Prosecutor in Licking County. There she primarily represented the Licking County Children Services in neglect, abuse, and dependency cases. Her desire to work with PBJ Connections is a natural one.
Tess holds a BSJ (Bachelor of Science in Journalism) from Ohio University, and a Juris Doctor (law degree) from Capital University Law School. Tess is currently participating in the Non-Profit Leadership Program through OSU and FirstLink.
