Support PBJ Connections

PBJ Connections has many ways you can help us help area youth. Whether you can support us financially through our client or horse sponsorship program, as a volunteer, or by telling others about our organization, we appreciate your help.

PBJ Connections is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. To help us continue our work we need your support. The decline in the economy has resulted in a decline in the donations that we received in 2009. While our income is down, the need for therapy for youths continues to grow. The average cost for our organization to provide a single therapy session is about $120.00 and most of our clients do not have the financial means to pay for these services.

Financially supporting PBJ Connections will help area at-risk youth meet their potential. We accept donations via PayPal, by check, by cash or through The Columbus Foundation. Your tax-deductible donation helps children obtain our services regardless of their family’s economic situations.

Client Sponsorship Program

While donations of any size will be of immediate help to our youth, please consider donating at one of these suggested levels:

  • Founders' Circle – Join other Founders with a donation of $500.00 or more. With your contribution of $500.00, a child can participate in an eight week group program.
  • Builders' Circle – Contributions of $250.00 or more. A donation of $250.00 can sponsor a weekend of family therapy.
  • Sustainers' Circle – Contributions of $120.00 or more. A donation of $120.00 can sponsor a young boy or girl for a single therapy session.
  • Contributor – A donation of $60.00 can sponsor a child for a single group session.

Horse Sponsorship Program

The wonderful horses at PBJ Connections make up the heart of our program. Without them, we would not be able to connect with the many children that come to our program. The horses in our program are all lovingly cared for and kept in good health. We are looking for help with the cost of feeding and caring for these great animals. Sponsorships are available for any amount and will go toward the care and feeding of our herd of horses.
