Enjoy the Elements – Water

Today is a wonderful day to talk about Enjoying the Elements. It is cold, blustery and there is snow on the ground. You might be thinking, “YES! Finally there is snow!” Or you might be wanting to crawl back under your covers and stay in bed.

Whatever side of the fence you are on, one way to stay in the moment about the weather is to just Enjoy the Elements. The element we are experiencing today is water. Frozen water, but water non-the-less. It can be easier to enjoy water at the beach than on a rainy or snowy day, but think about the magic of it. Water makes up 70% of our planet, with 97% of all the planet’s water residing in the oceans. All those roaring rivers make up only 3% of all the water on the planet!

Then think about us, the humans. 60% of our body is made up of water. Our brains and our hearts are 73% water. Water is an amazing element in any form and is clearly very important in our survival and the survival of the planet.

So if you are wanting to stay inside and avoid the frozen water (aka snow) that we are experiencing today, just think about how important it is, how it is a HUGE part of you, and how that white stuff causing so much angst today is part of a huge system of water that keeps us and our planet living and breathing.
